Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a woman was bitten by a dog in Southwold. The incident occurred around 6:40pm on Wednesday 8 October. A woman reported that as she left the Co-op Food Store on Market Place, an Alsatian dog that had been left barking outside the shop had slipped its lead and bitten her, puncturing and bruising the skin.
The owner of the dog, a man, then came out the shop and secured his dog but did not stop to speak with the woman.
He is described as white, aged in his 20s, approximately 6ft in height, of slim build and was dressed all in black with his hood up.
