Image of missing woman released – Christine Murton |

Police are releasing an image believed to be of missing woman, Christine Murton from Rushmere St Andrew.
Christine, aged 78, is believed to have left her house mid-morning on Wednesday 12 November and was reported as missing that evening.
The released image was taken from a door camera on Chatsworth Drive in the village just after 10:40am on Wednesday and shows Christine wearing a purple coat/jacket with blue trousers and a shoulder bag.
Christine is also described as being white, of slim build, approximately 5ft 7ins in height with short, dark hair.
Inspector Josh Ives said: “We hope this door image triggers someone’s memory and helps us to build a picture of Christine’s movements.
“Christine is known to enjoy long walks and may have travelled some distance on foot. We also know she owns a blue Toyota Yaris car (registration AV14 JKF), and officers are continuing to conduct enquiries to locate the vehicle.”
Officers have been reviewing CCTV and doorbell footage and carrying out searches in the immediate vicinity and in areas known to Christine, assisted by Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue (SulSAR).
Members of the public in the local area are asked to check their outbuildings and anyone who has seen Christine or who knows where she is asked to contact Suffolk Police quoting CAD 257 of 12 November via:
