Four arrests made in relation to drug offences in Forest Heath

Police in Forest Heath have made four arrests in relation to suspected drug offences recently.

On Wednesday May 27 at a property on North Road in Lakenheath, officers conducted a drugs warrant with a large quantity of suspected heroin located at the premises.

A male aged in his 70s was arrested for being concerned in the supply of drugs and taken into custody. He was released on bail until 27 July, pending further enquiries.

Simultaneously, a second warrant was conducted at a property on Warren Close in Lakenheath with two further arrests made. A male in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and was taken into custody. He was released on bail until 27 July, pending further enquiries. 

Meanwhile a female, aged in her 50s, was also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply of heroin and subsequently released on bail until 27 July pending further enquiries. 

In a separate incident officers had reason to stop and search a male, aged in his 50s, in Beavor Lane in Brandon on Tuesday 26 May. 12 wraps of suspected cocaine were located on him and he was subsequently arrested on suspicion with intent to supply and taken into custody for questioning and subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.
